Cultisìa

Cultisia is a "cussorgia" (or cussogghja) located in north-eastern Sardinia, in Gallura, in the valley of the Lo Sfossato stream,
in the municipality of Luogosanto. It is located on hilly slopes full of woods that grow on granite, about thirty kilometers from the sea. The interest, in addressing this text, was to understand how and why people had settled in such an impervious environment
and what happened in this area over time, how people lived there.

Lucia Naviglio , retired naturalist, in love with Sardinia, has chosen to live in Cultisia, of which she appreciates the landscape and human relationships with her neighbors.
Giovanni Masu , born in Cultisia in 1930, has always remained tied to the places where he lived until he was 18, before enlisting in the Carabinieri.
Gavino Masu , born in the municipality of Luogosanto, although he left Sardinia to become Carabiniere, remained strongly attached to the origins of his family.
